Questions on the new ACA employer reporting requirements still remain. Although on our last webinar we discussed the different Forms that must be used (e.g., the 1094-B, 1095-B Forms and the 1094-C, 1095-C Forms), the types of information that must be reported on each Form, and when these Forms must be filed with the IRS and furnished with the primary policyholder/”full-time” employee, there are more details you need to know. For example, what are the “Indicator Codes” and how should you use them when completing the Forms? What is an “Authoritative Transmittal” for Employers Filing Multiple Forms 1094-C? How do you file if you are a “governmental entity,” a Consortium, or a multiple employer welfare arrangement (MEWA)? We will cover these details – along with other nuances like how you should treat an employee in a “Limited Non-Assessment Period” – when we meet again.
