In 1967, the American Health Care Association established National Nursing Home Week, which is now called National Skilled Nursing Care Week (NSNCW) to recognize the essential role of skilled nursing centers in care for America’s frail, elderly and disabled. This year’s theme, Together Through the Seasons, honors the collaborative commitment of skilled nursing care facilities and their staff in providing compassionate care to their residents during the unprecedented time.
Over the past year, despite the challenges of the pandemic, senior living teams have shown a steadfast dedication to caring for and ensuring the safety of their residents.
