Our Latham, NY office, formerly known as Amtech Insurance Brokers (established 1993), offers a wide variety of commercial insurance programs custom designed for each individual client. We focus exclusively on insurance and risk management needs for businesses of all types and sizes.

  • Welding Supply / Compressed Gas Distributors Insurance - Encompasses the manufacturing, storage and distribution of various compressed gases and welding supplies such as welders, torches, tips, hoses, rods, welding wire, gloves, aprons, face masks, goggles and more.
  • Well Drillers – Water well, geotechnical and environmental drillers, directional drillers, and geothermal drillers. Program includes Down the Hole coverage and Pollution Liability limits up to $10,000,000.

Paul Andrews

Paul Andrews has over 35 years of insurance experience. He began his career at a predominately personal insurance agency that he expanded into a large commercial account operation. He then moved into a sales position and over a 10 year period developed a national program for compressed gas distributors. Since 1983, Paul has specialized in the marketing and underwriting of the compressed gas distributor business. Paul is a member of GAWDA (Gas and Welding Distributors Association) and networks with clients and other professionals associated with this field at the various regional and national conventions. In 1993 Paul formed Amtech Insurance Brokers and grew Amtech with his partner and seasoned staff for more than 20 years. Paul joined AssuredPartners in February 2015.
