When I first started with AssuredPartners as an intern, I had no idea it would lead me to a full-time career. A job that started as a way to make money during the summer brought me to people that I enjoy working with, responsibilities that taught me accountability and ownership, and growth that I never dreamed would be attainable at this level of my career. Starting as a Commercial Service Intern in 2015, I was fortunate enough to be exposed to agency management system functionality and processes, insurance coverages and workflows, as well as the overall operations of a brokerage firm. Surrounded by a team that wanted nothing but growth and saw my success as their success, I was able to also intern with the Personal Lines department, Surety department, Sales department, and ultimately where I found my passion, the Regional Operations team. AssuredPartners’ dedication to its employees and growth-centric operations are well reflected within my career. Finding a mentor that took me under their wing allowed me the opportunity to prove myself and create value within the organization. Ultimately getting to lead a team of insurance professionals, I now get to have a positive impact within the company, my coworkers, and the industry by leading the P&C regional acquisition integration process, developing and executing all regional initiatives, and working directly with offices in my region on agency structure, operational strategy, and talent / leadership development.
