At AssuredPartners, providing our employees with professional development opportunities is extremely important to us. AP University is centered on training our sales force on effective prospecting and sales techniques. We utilize “Proactive Services and Solutions” based sales training modules using multiple different 3rd party systems.
We partner with various colleges and universities across the country to build a thoughtful and purposeful college internship program. All colleges that AssuredPartners has partnered with have a Risk Management degree or a Sales certificate program.
The ideal candidates will be outgoing, professional, and congenial, with inquisitive personalities and critical thinking. Candidates must also be driven, self-starting, and entrepreneurial while demonstrating a high level of maturity.
As a Sales Executive Intern, you will gain an understanding of the insurance industry and the distribution models for insurance products. The program will provide our interns with a broad understanding of business to business and business to consumer sales for financial products. Our interns will build valuable skills in identifying and developing new business opportunities by developing desired outcomes for specific issues facing private and public entities.
During our Internship Program, the Sales Executive Intern will complete a rotation through critical teams which help assess issues, develop solutions, negotiate risk transfer contracts, and provide claims advocacy on behalf of policy holders. Our Interns will develop critical sales skills in opportunity identification, lead nurturing, effective sales process, and implementation of financial products.
AssuredPartners offers various types of internship possibilities beyond the sales program. We also offer internships for students who are interested in the back end of the business such as Account Executives and Account Managers.
